Join artist Nicole Duclos and historian Jamie Mariconda on an adventure with Charlie Pierce. We will be hosting live art and hands-on book explorations. Using the living book series “The Adventures of Charlie Pierce” as our spine we will create art, study our natural environment and our state history. Each class will lead us to a new location and give the children chances to learn about our local fauna and flora, pioneer life and survival tricks, ecology and environmentalism, economics and geography without ever opening a textbook. Parents are welcome to observe the classes or take some much needed “me time” exploring the locations on their own.
